About The Overstay

The Overstay is a hub for backpackers looking to get in contact with the local cultural scene. More than just a hostel we organize cultural events and art exhbition. Facilities include: free wi-fi, pool table, live band setup, and kitchen for guest. Definetly not a 'hello-goodbye' place but a vibrant exchange places for the artsy type. Our relaxed roof top and street art makes our charm.

Thanks to Travellerspoint, I found the best hotel where I've never been. The Overstay is full of friendly travelers, a party could begin at anytime,, walls painted by talented graffiti artists,, good informations about anything in Bangkok or in Thailand, live performances by local bands..... It's just the hotel I always dreamed about thinking it could not exist.
I understand very good that this hotel could not please to everyone, it's not an hotel for basic tourists, you would meet there more people with dreadlocks than families with children,although from time to time you meet one of the free spirit families with children even here.
Like many others I booked for 3 days and spent 3 weeks there, enjoying too meet people from all over the world, Thais included.
