I found it hard to find using the directions that were given but once I got there it was excellent.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the facilities were awesome.The only problem was that it got a bit hot at night.

Renewal opened Capsule Hotel (for male) on April 2008, located in the center of the Kobe city, Sannomiya. From where it is easy to accessible all parts of Kobe like from Sannomiya station, Harbor Land, Meriken Park, China town etc.! This is an ideal place to stay from where especially with walking distance to Business districts, shopping malls, and major inner city sightseeing spots. Also adjacent to nightlife of Kobe city. (Of course, No Curfew) Low Price, meticulously well maintained, closed to the station, excellent facilities, and convenient location, Free for going outside after check in. Suitable for business and private use.
Capsule Room Facility:
- 104 rooms / 2 floors
- Size of Capsule Room is roughly 2 m by 1 m by 1.25 m (height)
- Built in equipment: TV, Radio, lighting and an Alarm Clock
- Privacy ensured by a curtain roll at the end of the capsule
- Double Decked Capsule Rooms with steps providing access to the second level rooms
Facilities:
- A communal large bath, sauna and lounge area (24 hours)
- Wash rooms are shared
- PC with free Internet service.
- Library of Japanese comics (mangas).
- Smoking Area.
- No Dining facility (Please feel free to bring the foods from the outside) Please eat in the lounge area on 2nd floor only. Microwave oven is available at the lounge area.

- Check in from 3:00 PM.
- Check out: 11:00 AM.
- No curfew, you can leave and come back as you wish.
- Lock out time from 11:00AM to 3:00PM for facility cleaning and maintenance:
For the Guests who stay more than 1 night, you must take out your luggage from your locker and capsule room in the period of 11AM until 3PM for the daily cleaning and maintenance. You can collect your luggage in front desk until you stay our hotel.

From JR Sannomiya Station West ticket gate (about 8 min.)
From Hankyu Sannomiya Station East ticket gate (about 8 min)
-Both gates are located close.
-It goes out to a small plaza in which some modern arts are sculptured when going out of the station building toward the mountainside (the north side).
-You can find "BENETTON" shop when crossing at the crosswalk passing over the plaza. -The shoes shop named "STEP" is seen when the left sideward of the Benetton shop is passed.
-It arrives at this hotel when going on the road at the right side of "STEP" about 250m.
From Kobe Subway Sannomiya Station Seisin-Yamate line (about 8 min)
From Kobe Subway Sannomiya Station Kaigan line (about 15 min)
From Hanshin Sannomiya Station (about 8 min)
-All of the gates are connected underpass.
-Leave from Exit East No. 1(E1) from Kobe subway Seishin-Yamate line.
-Walk along the left side Flower Road (6 lanes) toward Mountains (north) by 250 m until "Lawson" shop.
-Turn left at the corner of the "Lawson". Over two narrow roads ahead and turn right at the coin parking. That leads Capsule Hotel Kobe Sannomiya.
From Kobe Air Port (30 min)
-Take Port Liner to Sannomiya
Port Liner Sannomiya Station (about 8 min)
JR Sannomiya Station Central Ticket Gate (about 8 min)
l Port Liner Sannomiya station is next to JR Sannomiya Station, which is linked by escalator by right side of ticket counter of port line.
l Use the escalator stair to come down toward JR Sannomiya Station and walk about 2 minutes straight, there is a rotary of the taxi when going out of the concourse at the JR Sannomiya Station to the mountain-side (north).
l It goes out to the beef bowl shop when crossing at the crosswalk exceeding there. Then, the crosswalk crosses over the road of 6 lanes.
l There is "Lawson" shop when walking about 250m toward the mountains (north) along the road (6 lanes) on the left side.
l It turns to the left in the corner of "Lawson" Shop and it walks two narrow roads.
l It arrives at this hotel when turning to the right in the corner of the coin parking.
