Hotel Belfort

This was the most expensive hotel in our European travels and probably the most disappointing as well.. Its great if you want a real basic place to stay but i feel it was over priced. The carpets in the corridors were pretty stinky as well.

About Hotel Belfort

This hotel is located in a peaceful area between Rembrandtpark and Vondelpark, within easy access of the centre of Amsterdam.

The whole of the city can easily be reached by tram which stops opposite the hotel.

After exploring the cultural and historical attractions of the city, you can unwind with a drink on the hotel's terrace.

The Belfort Hotel has 42 guestrooms featuring simple, modern decor in whites and neutrals and light wood furniture. All include bathrooms with hair dryers, satellite television and direct-dial telephones.

The daily papers are available in the lobby lounge and guests can check their emails for free at the computer terminal, which offers wireless Internet access.

Day trips and excursions can be booked at reception, which is open round the clock and has a safe for valuables.

It is decent enough. I would say the worst thing about this place is the location, it is quite far away from Central Amsterdam.

This was the most expensive hotel in our European travels and probably the most disappointing as well.. Its great if you want a real basic place to stay but i feel it was over priced. The carpets in the corridors were pretty stinky as well.. The breakfast was decent with cereals, cold meats and juice's. doubt i would stay there again!
