Hi i am David from england and i stayed at chapinorte for 7 days from 04/10/09 and on the 30/10/09 i will be returning for a few more days before going back to england.
I thought it was a ideal place to stay it was great value for money location was brilliant especially near shops restaurants going out to the zona rosa area to have fun.Its in a very safe location i had no problem what so ever walking around the neighbourhood it is very safe area.

ChapiNorte B&B is the ONLY, newest and cheapest bed and breakfast hostel in the NORTH OF BOGOTA. WALKING DISTANCE TO ZONA ROSA, BEST NIGHT LIFE IN THE CITY. It's a small place but pleasant, clean, friendly. With bilingual staff and is in an excellent location in the city.

Also, we are next to the Escuela Internacional de Negocios and Language School, so you can meet many local Colombians ready to experience an international atmosphere.

We are Centrally located,10 minutes walking to the popular "Chapinero" area. 5 minutes walking to the "Zona Rosa"(Best night life area of the city),15 minutes to "La Candelaria" (downtown) and just 2 blocks to Transmilenio (76th street exit).

We offer free transportation from airport to the hostel if your stay is 7 nights or longer, (see special offer), breakfast is included and Spanish courses with Colombian natives teachers as optional.

The place has a nice kitchen where you can cook yourself, hot showers in shared bathrooms and local tour guides or touristic information/orientation if you needed.

We offer packages including: accommodation, language courses, free tour around the city, free airport pick up. Ask for details.

Antonio and Diego are great hosts and very friendly and are always helpful and are always glad to help.
The hostel is very near to the public bus system transmeleneo.
I also like staying here also because it has internet also wifi as well which was even better for me because i had my own laptop with me.
As i am in colombia for 1 month travelling around seeing my friends i would say stay at chapinorte great location , and on the 30/10/09 i will be back there again for a few days before returning back to england.

Was a perfect place, close to zona rosa, the beds I feel a little unconfortable for the night, but if you want a cheap place, in a safe location, near everithing and just to spend the night. I think it's a great option. Antonio (the host) it's really nice, and a great person.
If I go to Bogota again, I'm pretty sure, I will stay there for sure.

HEY EVERY BODY I STAY 7 NIGHTS IN CHAPINORTE, I CAN SAY ONE OF THE BEST PLACES EVER, DIEGO AND ANTONIO ARE REALLY NICE HOST, THE PLACE IS REALLY COOL AND ALSO THEY HELP ME WITH A COFFE PLANTATION TOUR IT WAS CHEAP, NEAR BOGOTA AND VERY FUN IF YOU EVER STAY THERE ASK THEM ABOUT IT THEY SURE WILL HELP YOU NOT ONLY WITH THAT, ALSO ANY THING YOU NEED. GEETINGS TO ANTONIO, DIEGO AND ALL THE COOL FRIENDS I MADE THERE.

I was in Bogota 5 days (oct-2009). I went with my sister and a friend, and we haven't any complaints. The location is incredible, very near to de Rose Zone and we felt very safe. The Hostal is very clean, very friendly people around and we appreciatte that very much.
They have a great service of internet a drinks. Antonio and Diego were hospitable to us. I know that when i come back to Bogota, there is the place i will stay. I recommended to all. A+
