The most central property in Salta !
Amazing bbq's and the best breakfast in Salta by far !
We really don't want to boast but with everything we offer you its hard not to !
just one block from the central plaza. We offer double rooms with en-suite bathrooms and small dorm rooms of just 4 beds per room. Cable TV English speaking channels - we really are a step ahead of the rest. All this at the same price as other hostals that just offer you a lumpy mattress!
We are not a party property so we can assure you of a good nights sleep unless you decide you want to paint the town red ! No curfew means you can come in when you like , we just ask you to be courteous to other guests.
We offer BBQs and can guide you on a night out on the town as well as providing free internet and all the tourist information you are likely to need. We can even arrange all of your tours throughout the region to suit any budget, from private tours to mini-bus excursions.
An amazing Breakfast is included in the price of the room including fruits cerials bread and pastries and tea and coffee but being partly owned by an English man we also offer bacon and eggs (for just a little bit extra) !!!
So whatever you are looking to do in Salta make sure you do it in comfort and style in Hostal del Centro!

We stayed here for one night and couldn´t recommend the hostel more. We arrived at 6.30am and were allowed to check in immediately and even take advantage of the free breakfast (pastries, cereal, fruit, bread, tea, coffee, hot chocolate etc)!! The staff were so helpful and very friendly, making us feel at home and relaxed. Plus, Fernandos asado is amazing!!!
Great hostel, staff are really friendly. The rooms are really clean. The asado was the best that we had in argentina loads of meat, salad and wine....it was so good. The hostel is so central and there is a great atmosphere there. I definately recommend it. Book in advance if you can.
Good place in downtown, very friendly staff
Fantastic hostel in the centre of Salta with really great staff. Well stocked kitchen, nice outside space for eating and good quality rooms. The manager is English which is an extra bonus for non Spanish speakers.
