great hostel! corniglia is the smallest of the 5 cities, so dont plan to spend much time there.. being in the middle city is nice for hiking tho, and the hostel is super close to where the bus drops you off.
the facilities were nice, everything seemed to be pretty new. they also let us leave our things there before we checked in the first day and after we checked out the second day so that we didnt have to carry them hiking.
I was happy with my choice, and the price was very reasonable!

Ostello Corniglia is in the center of Corniglia, the third of 5 Terre villages.It's the cross of the walking paths of 5 Terre National Park.
Hostel has two rooms (8 beds inside),one for men, one for women and double and triple rooms with private bathroom inside.We have cold and hot drinks automatic machines.
A very quiet place where you can relax yourself after a nice walk or a day spent at the sea.
Please advice about arrival time.

Small, friendly hostel. Excellent location in the "middle", and in the most relaxed and laid-back village of 5terrre. Clean and simple. Yes, there is a curfew at 1.30 (negotiable depending who is on staff), but if you're hiking all day it's ok. This is not the place to have all-night parties anyway. Have breakfast outside in the village.

Great location, nice and clean and very friendly staff. Only complaint: the neighboring playground outside the window seems to be a late night hang out for local teenagers, but nothing a pair of earplugs wont fix. I would stay there again. Thanks

Fantastic hostel in Corniglia, the middle of the 3 towns. The hostel was right in the town, so no need to drag luggage up hundreds of stairs. Beautiful restaurants nearby, and pizza and sandwich bars. A lovely quiet town with great swimming. The staff were friendly and the place was super clean. The only downside was that breakfast (EU3) wasn´t great, but I would definately go back again. I was so sad to leave!!
Great place in the centre of town- very clean and comfortable. They had a kitchen which we werent allowed to use which was a bit of a shame, but besides that it was fine.

Directions
By train : Corniglia is on the railway line from La Spezia to Genova.
getting off at Corniglia's train station you can take the 5 Terre national park shuttle bus to go to the town or walk for 1 km (15 miutes ) going up.
The bus leaves, more or less, 5 minutes after the arrival of each train from 7:00 am to 8 pm.
The hostel is few meters far from the shuttle bus stop in the centre of the town.
By car :from La Spezia, Carrodano or Brugnato speedway exites follow the signes to 5 Terre and to corniglia.
The car park close to the town is on payment but if you are Corniglia hostel's guests you have a discount.
