Make a booking at Panos Studios

Panos Studios is clean, safe, relatively convenient, and reasonably priced. However, my stay was an unfortunate one.

Not only did they not honor my reservation of two rooms (they gave one away to travellers showing up without reservations while we were waiting), but did not properly charge me for the room they did give me. I thought the fee was wrong - but as the woman asking me to pay did not speak English - we could not communicate to fix the error. I paid the fee she asked me to pay.

The family running the studio realized their error and had a family member contact me with several unpleasant emails, accusing me of not paying for my second room and asking me to send my credit card number through email or text message to pay the difference.

I refused (obviously, since the booking agency had my card # and the agency used it several times on my trip.) I was asked to take time out of my vacation to find a specific bank to wire money or even meet up with a family member in Athens to pay the amount owed. Several days later they agreed to accept the money through paypal.

I still don't know if it's a scam. I paid the rest of the fee through paypal, but given the phone calls, data roaming charges and bank transfer fees, it was about $50 US extra to settle the problem. Given the other options you have on Parikia, it's not worth the risk of hassles to stay here unless you have someone who is fluent in Greek to help you.

Panos Studios is a small accommodation complex located in a quiet neighbourhood, about 10 minutes walk from the main port of Parikia and the old town that is full of shops and tavernas. The main road is a few minutes away from the studios. From here, you may get buses to Naousa and other villages of the island which pass regularly throughout the summer. We provide daily cleaning and 24-hour service. The building itself has a small front yard and an olive grove behind to relax in.

Accommodation Information

At Panos Studios there are studios for 2, 3 or 4 guests with double and/or single beds. They all have bathrooms with bathtub or shower cabin, air-condition, TV, cooking facilities, and balconies, some of which have view to the sea and the sunset.

Cancellation Policy

Customers can cancel their reservation free of charge up to 2 Days before arrival. After this date, charges will be applied by the property up to the full cost of the reservation. Deposits paid are non refundable.
