Sunrise Hostel (Tian An Men), Beijing, China

I stayed a week and it was great. There are lots of small shops around and it is a 5 minute walk to thd night market and the main shopping street. The staff are friendly, and speak good ehglish. Lockers in the room so my stuff was safe. They do nice food but you can get it cheaper in local restaurants. They can book tours and taxis. They do laundry. It is in a good location. 10 minutes from 2 subway stations. Definitely stay here!

The staffs were really nice and kind. Type of people whom you can trust. However, they should provide some basic toiletries to their guests.
In all, my short stay at Sunrise hostel was great!

This is the only hotel which is very near to the important places. This is the only hotel where you will get WIFI in your room and FREE towel.
Better than any other place like 365 Inn, etc.

I left a gift to my friend in the front desk, they lost it. However, their staff insisted that they never received the gift from me when my friend picking it up, oh my God, what a liar and thief! I feel very sad about it!

This was a wonderful experience. The staff was exceedingly helpful, the place clean, the beer cheap, and the location was ideal. I really enjoyed my week there. This was the best hostel I have stayed in in years and I look forward to staying there again when I go back to Beijing. Tom from Hawaii

I enjoyed staying at Sunrise. Excellent location and friendly, helpful staff.
I highly recommend their tours - tours go to where they say with plenty of time to enjoy the destination. Prices are very reasonable.
Sunrise provides a secure 'Western-type' environment - nice breakfasts.

Good place to meet fellow travellers.

I would definately stay here again on my next visit to Beijing.

great little hostel.
the staff are friendly and helpfull.very clean. nice lounge area with bar and wifi and free computer usage. serve a very good american breakfast too.

you can pershes a map of beijin in english here and the staff will happerly point out where things are.
they have tour booking here to.

very close to everything.10min walk from the fabidden city and tianaman square. 5min walk to underground at tian'amen east.
2 lines to the central railway station.

the underground is great for travelers in beijing and take you just about everywhere.

5min walk from a shopping centre and food court and local food market.

ive stayed here twise. 1s in a twin room, 1s in a double and both times have been good.with good heating.

its down a side street so our taxi driver had trouble finding it.but its definetly worth the trouble.
