Cicerone Guest House welcomes everybody in a very relaxed, clean and familiar atmosphere in the heart of Florence. We are able to provide spacious and comfortable rooms all of them featuring a private bathroom with shower, air conditioning, free internet access and TV.
OUR POSITION:
Our strategical location allows a very comfortable arrival into Florence for all those guests who decide to schedule their trip by train; being at only five minutes walking distance from the central railway station of Santa Maria Novella makes it very easy to reach us for everybody.
You will also experience how easy it is to reach within walking distance all the most interesting artistic attractions of Florence such as the Dome, Piazza della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio, Galleria degli Uffizi and the Fortress where, throughout all the year important cultural and commercial events take place.
BREAKFAST SERVICE:
We kindly inform all our guests that although breakfast service is not included in the rate you are paying, we are glad to suggest you the comfortable neighbour Bar Caffetteria Mama.
Located in the same via Guelfa at the number 57 at only 30 metres from our house. All our guests who wish to taste breakfast in this nearby location will take advantage of incredibly discounted prices.
Cancellation Policy 48 hours
CHECK-IN:
Arrival time: being our establishment a tourist house and not a hotel we do not provide a 24 hour reception or front desk service. We therefore advise all our guests that normal check-in time is between 2:oo pm and 7:00 pm, while for all those arriving later or earlier than this time we kindly request you to give us advice at least 24/48 hours in advance by email, fax or a phone call. We will be glad to welcome you according to your different arrival schedule.
CHECK-OUT
Departure time: all our guests are kindly requested to leave their rooms within 10:00 am the day of departure.

Managers were friendly and welcoming, were happy to recommend eating places, places to see, no question was too much for them.

Convenient location, just a short walk to the centre, friendly welcome and very helpful with information. Tickets for the Uffizi Gallery were booked for us, saving queuing to get in. The room was basic but clean, however the bathroom was tiny with hardly space to turn around and the shower itself was basically the floor of the bathroom. However, we managed for a few nights. Accommodation overall good value and can recommend.

The only downside is that there is no alarm clock in the room, so be sure to bring your own and 2 if you need to wake up super early.
