Andrea was so welcoming and a very good host. She knows all the best places to see and eat.

About Andrea's Home
We have two houses (one by another) with apartments and rooms.
APARTMENTS are fully equipped with new equipment (all apartments have their own bathroom and kitchen). Each apartment has free cable TV, free wireless internet. A computer with free internet is available in the hall. Each apartment also has either a terrace or a balcony with a view on the garden with big trees.
ROOMS just have basic equipment (older but still nice). Rooms have shared bathroom and shared kitchen. TV available in the shared living room. Free wireless internet is available. A computer with free internet is available in the hall.

Right in the middle of central Bled, between the 1. bus station Union (300m) and 2. main bus station
(500 m). We are a young family running a big house with garden and trees all arround in a green, quiet, charming street on the edge of the lake park (around 300m from the lake BLED). The shoping center and restaurants (there are over 5 restauras with slovenian food and Bled cakes specialitets (cream cake), with cheep or resonable prices) are very close, about 200-400m away from our house).
We offer You:
- basic information (history, events, typical things, prices) with the map about Bled and other turistic atractions.
- breakfast is avalable for 7 EUR/person
- organized activities(rafting, hiking, horse riding...
- free internet (computer with connection in main hall, wireless connection also available)
- washing (no dryer available)
-there is even a jukebox in the hall so you can listen to some music

Andrea was so welcoming and a very good host. She knows all the best places to see and eat.
The location was fantastic. Only a short 5 minute stroll to Lake Bled and close to the restaurants etc. The castle is probably a 10 minute walk to the track (next to the lake) and then a 15 minute walk up the hill. Definitely something you should do and not too difficult at all.
The place itself was very comfortable. We had a 2 bedroom apartment and a 4 bedroom apartment. Everything was extremely clean and comfortable. We had a fridge and little kitchen (which unfortunately we didnt really get to use as we only had 1 night!).
The parking is very safe and secure in Andrea's driveway and the place has a very relaxed feel to it.
The price was very reasonable for the value we got and we would recommend this place to anyone (whether traveling as a couple, single or as a group). We had 6 people and the place was perfect for our group.
I am an experienced traveller and would rate this as one of the best places we have stayed anywhere in the world. I would suggest you need at least 3 nights to really make the most of Lake Bled. What a beautiful place it is!

We found Andrea very welcoming and concerned about the comfort of her guests. Was in a lovely quiet area although we did have trouble finding it as it's down a tiny road with a roadsign which was obscured at one end. The area was safe and very handy to everything - you could walk to the town centre. The room was clean and comfortable - very small bathroom but for the price you can't expect too much. Would stay again.
Onky one word; GREAT! Perfect location nearby city centre and lake. Still very peaceful neighbourhood. Great service and hospitality! I recommend, either short or longer stay. Host was very kind to organise restaurants, bikes, hiking, what ever!

We have just come back from spending 3 days at Andrea's Home. Like Bled itself, and the surrounds, we would definitely come back to Andrea's. The room was fab as was all of the facilities in the house. What was particularly good was the help that Andrea and her husband gave in planning our stay. They gave maps, suggested itineries, restaurants, swimming points ... all of which were perfect and gratefully received. Moreover, Andrea also sorted out our transport back to Lub airport (a local courier service for 13 euros per person). Good value, not least given the prices of some Bled hotels. Really, just perfect.

The accomodation she offers is very well located, clean and comfortable.

Andrea was so welcoming and the location was perfect - a quiet street just a few minutes walk from the lake.
Andrea picked us up from the station and gave us loads of advice about where to go and what to see. It is easy to rent bikes and head out to gorges, waterfalls and amazing forest.
The apartment was excellent - with a powerful shower, comfy beds, TV, and a great little private garden area.
We had a brilliant stay here, and it provided an excellent base for exploring the surrounding area.

Andrea is a jewel. She went out of her way to make sure that we were comfortable and taken care of, even to the point of driving us to a resturant the night we arrived. She picked us up at the train and gave us a ride back to the train.
We were looking for a clean QUIET room and that is just what we got at a very reasonable price.
