Very basic hostel very conveniently located in the Old City of Jerusalem. Management is very good as all the guests seem to stick to the rules which makes it excellent value for anyone on a low budget willing to ignore the rather run down but basically clean rooms. My daughter and I stayed in a "triple" room with bathroom and toilet which had a large double bed and a single. The room and it's facilities resembled my daughter's room at digs at Uni. The view of the Old City from the window was very pleasant but the window couldn't be left open as it swung back and forth creaking and banging in the breeze so we had the fan on all night. Bring your own soap as none provided.

The great advantage is the location in the Old City. The hostel has a roof terrace, from which you can see all the roofs and towrs of the old City. The hostel itself is a bit narrow, limited space everywhere.

The place is great. The location couldn't be better. The building is 700 years old! The place is very cozy, its decoration puts you right in the Middle East mood.
The staff was always very helpful, they are busy since the place is always packed. The great advantage is that it has a kitchen where you can prepare your meals and thus, save a lot of money.
Although it is very central, the place is very quiet, great view from the terrace and the room I stayed was big and comfy. There is hot water 24 hours and showers and washrooms in every floor.
Great value!

Great place to stay if you want a central location in Jerusalem with no fuss and no frills. Some rooms are very cramped indeed; noise is quite a problem, not only outside but one inconsiderate fellow-guest can keep one awake. Facilities are basic, but then it's cheap by comparison with others. Longing for a decent method of obtaining boiling water may just be an English tea-drinker's complaint.... Overall, if you're happy with the absolute basics, this is the place to be, and the staff are helpful and friendly.

Perfect location, clean and friendly staff. We had a private room. The room was a good size, but cold and had to pay an extra 20 shekels a night for a heater. The mattresses were not the best and need replacing. Overall value for money not so good compared to other hostels I heard about from travelers.

God to sleep, friendly staff, middle of the old city - perfect for backpackers! The privat double room was very romanticly and not expensiv. Low luxus, high feeling - breakfast on the roof, looking around the churches of the armenian quarter. Kitchens and restrooms very simple and it´s better to have own cup, dish, knife, fork and spoon.
