About Good Morning Budapest Hostel

If you are looking for a homey place in the heart of the city, now stop searching because you've found it! Come and take a rest after your long journey in one of our colorful, light rooms, eat a Hungarian specialty made locally, check-out the freshest programs in the city in the common room or just sit down and enjoy the Hungarian hospitality of our friendly and helpful staff of Good Morning Budapest!

We enjoy a very central location. Our hostel is located just 5 minutes walk from Nyugati railway station and it doesn't take more than 15 minutes to get any of most frequented sights in the city.

Our Hostel opened on 1st May 2009. This historical building built in the 19th century and recently reconditioned in 2009, with great atmosphere right next to Nyugati train station - amazing and attractive location - one of the main streets of Budapest is just outside your window.

FREE COFFEE AND TEA included in the price.

We cook FREE TRADITIONAL HUNGARIAN DINNER every Wednesday for the guests. You are welcome to join us cooking and learn the traditional way it is done, or just enjoy the meal with the others.

We don't have bunk beds at all, in our 4 meters high bedrooms we have lofts with separated beds instead. We have free hair dryers and towels. The Hostel also has laundry service, we wash and dry the guests clothes if they need.

We have direct contact to several guided tours, such as „Caving Under Budapest', „Bike Tour', „Ride for Your Gulash', „Ghetto Tour', „Bath Tour', „Budapest by Night', 'The True Taste of Budapest…'

Our facilities:

Our kitchen is fully-equipped with pans, dishes, cutlery and basic ingredients for cooking (as well as free coffee and tea).

Our large bathrooms are always clean, and you won't have to worry about clean towels, as they are provided free for you.

We also have a beautiful, large common room including: computers with free Internet, big comfortable couches, a television and the newest DVDs, reading corner with books, another corner with shisha, a little fridge with cold beers, maps and a flyers of ongoing events.

On the information wall you can read everything about the night life, museums, guided tours and many more... And don't forget our cheerful staff who will help you to make your stay perfect with their cool tips.

Accommodation Information

There is Wi-Fi, free safety locker, absolutely new and comfortable furnishes in every room.

The 3 bed dorm is very quiet, friendly, with the colors of the sun, for the people who want really relax after a busy day in Budapest.

If you prefer chatting after a long day you can choose the 6 or 7 bed dorm. Nice large rooms with special atmosphere.

The Double Room is a very nice, romantic place with the view of historical buildings.

Go across on Teréz rd. and you will be on Bajcsy-Zsilinszky rd, the street of the hostel.
Go 200 meters till nr. 49 on the left side and you will find the hostel between the motor shop and the hairdresser. Push the doorbell!
