Hotel de Lille-Louvre is a charming, little hotel with just 14 rooms, located at the heart of Paris in a quiet street in the 1st arrondissement.
This hotel is literally in the centre of the famous City of Light, just a few steps from the Louvre Museum and next to the unusual, modern building that houses the Ministry of French Culture. Thanks to the hotel's fantastic location it is easy to reach the main tourist attractions on foot, like the Place De La Concorde, the Tuileries and the Champs Elysees, as well as the Louvre, the L'Orangerie Museum and the Jeu de Paume.
This Hotel is a fine example of a typical Parisian residence with charming old fashioned decor and architecture that will transport you back in time. It offers single, double, twin and triple rooms equipped with heating. Some of the rooms have a bathroom inside them while others have shared bathrooms.
Among the amenities on offer at this establishment you will find an Internet corner and a reception service from 07.00 until 23.00. Breakfast is not included in the price but is available and is served in the cosy little breakfast room. Just got back last night from Paris.The hotel has got GREAT location. Literally 2 blocks away from Louvre. But this is where it ends, I am afraid. It's very small and very dirty. The bedshits were clean but the duvets were from 19th century and so were the beds and bed covers. The door to our room had a massive gap and you could see people passing buy. Also the walls are thin and you can here everything. The bathroom was disgusting with the shower cabin so tiny that you could not move. You had to wait for 10 minutes after every 5 minutes of water running till it goes down the sink hole, otherwise you would have the bathroom flooded.
We had 1/3 of toilet roll between 3 of us and the towels are minging.
Very shabby, very Parisienne......
