The island of Ugljan can be reached from Zadar via a regular car ferry. The ferry port is located directly in the historic centre of Zadar. The airport is 12 km away.

There are also four national parks in the close neighborhoods of Zadar; the wonderful Kornati Islands, the Plivice lakes, the big Paklenica of the Velebit mountain, and the Krka Water Falls, and also you can enjoy on rafting on the river Zrmanja.
