A little bit of a tired hotel but for the price was absolutely fine. Very near a Metro which is useful as you are out of the main part of Paris. Breakfast was extra and very basic. On the whole would use it again for cheap and cheerful!

Although Hotel Residence Villiers is not the newest one - I recommand it! Nice atmosphere, great localization, nice service - especially man with the moustahe deserves on 5 or even 6 stars :-)

This hotel is a very good, clean and nice hotel in the centre of Paris, about an half hour walk from the Arc de Triomphe. There is a Metro station nearby (not even a 2 minute walk) called Wagram. If I'm not mistaken this is line 3, the yellow or green line. This station is about 15 minutes away from the big station Gare Du Nord, where also the Eurostar, Thalys and TGV international trains arrive. Around the corner is a little bar with the same name as the hotel (Villiers) and a cup of coffee on this terrace is a nice thing to do. There is also a little market near the Metro exit. He has everything. Other than that there is also a very good pizzeria nearby (1 minute walk). If you walk a little bit further in the direction of the park, there is also a very nice bakery with some nice and big sandwiches. The service of the hotel is very good and staff is very friendly. Very trustworthy as well. They did only ask for my name, not even for an ID or anything. Rooms are not too big, but sure good enough to stay the night. The beds were comfortable as well. Every day your room is cleaned (even your PJ will be folded nicely on the bed) and you get fresh clean towels. We didn't use breakfast, so I can't say anything about that (because there were plenty of other places to get breakfast) So overall for a 2 star hotel, this was very good!

It was a nice places, with kind people. The position was good very close to a Metro station and close to a mini market store. The only problem we encountered was that although on this site it was written we have breakfast included, when we got there we couldn't prove this with our papers, and we have to pay for it.

Excellent location beside metro station in a quiet neighbourhood. Local shops and cafe nearby. Room was big, clean, comfy for the price. Staff at the desk a bit clueless but fine. Had wifi at reception only. Would definitely stay there again.
