Of course, The Grand Daddy's big talking point is its 'penthouse' trailer park, where a collection of vintage Airstream caravans nestle beneath the backdrop of Table Mountain. Each of the 7 two-sleeper trailer suites have been conceptualized and designed by local artists and makes for an accommodation destination like no other.
The Grand Daddy feels like a family-owned hotel and in some respects it is. It is a part of the Daddy Long Legs Group, who also brought us Cape Town's original art hotel, Daddy Long Legs, and the Daddy Long Legs Self Catering Apartments. The philosophy is simple provide excellent service, clean, comfortable rooms, a creative feel and charge less for it!

CANCELLATION
1. The 25% deposit will be charged if the confirmed booking or part thereof gets cancelled.
2. Pre-payments are not refundable under any circumstances if the cancellation occurs within 7 days prior to arrival date.
3. We reserve the right to retain the pre-payment as a cancellation fee, should we be unable to re-sell the room.
4. In the event of premature departures, we will be obliged to charge for the full extent of the pre-booked stay.

Directions
From the airport to Long street is approximately 21km and takes approximately 20 minutes.
Exit the Airport and continue for 3 km, merge in to the N2 HIGHWAY. Then follow N2 STAD/ CITY SIGN. After 18km move into lane with M6 / SEAPOINT / WATERFRONT sign. Proceed up Buitengracht Street for 1km and then turn left into Wale Street and right into Long Street. You will see us there!
