Please do not listen to taxi drivers, whatever they may say about us. We have been informed that some taxi drivers are paid comission by other competitors. Not only to take clients to their hostel but to use any means to deceit, they even fake conversations on their cel phone pretending to talk to Hostel Casa Del Parque. Due to this we have decided to pay comissinon to taxi drivers to bring our clients to the hostel. Parque Nacional is one of the most important parks in the city, if a taxi driver says he doesn't know where it is he is most likely lying. Insist that you want to be brougth to Hostel Casa Del Parque on the corner of the northeastern corner of the National Park of San Jose.
Print the following note and give it to the cab.
Estimado Señor Taxista,
Hostel Casa Del Parque le pagara 1000 colones por persona que usted traiga al hostel que tenga reservaciones con nosotros o que no tengan reservacion en ningun otro hostal. Nunca les pediremos que traigan una persona que tiene reservacion previa en otro establecimiento. Ya que la competencia desleal es un delito.
Esta ubicado en la esquina noreste del Parque Nacional. Por cada 10 personas que traiga usted recibira un bono adicional de 5000 colones.

This is what the note says in English.:
Dear Mr. Taxi Driver,
Hostel Casa del Parque will pay you 1000 colones comission for each person you bring to our hostel that had a previous reservation with us or that has not made a reservation in any other hostel. We will never ask you to bring people who had a previouse reservation in another establishement because disloyal competition is a crime.
We are located on the northeast corner of the Parque Nacional. For every ten people you bring to our hostel, you will receive an aditional bonus of 5000 colones.

Directions
From the bus station or airport take a taxi and head for the hostel in front of the northeastern corner of the National Park by the old train station to the Atlantic.
Write this to the cab driver:
(En frente a la esquina nor-este del Parque Nacional por la antigua estación de tren al Atlántico)
Taxi drivers will say anything to deter you, do not let them, just insisty that you want to come here.
