Welcome to Mylena y Otto Private Rooms! Winner of the 2011 Hostelbookers Award for Excellence. The flat has 2 double bedrooms sharing a bathroom (hot and cold water 24 hours), living room, dining room and small but functional kitchen. The spacious rooms are equipped with queen-size bed, air conditioning, desk, wardrobe, TV, fan and sharing big fridge. One of the rooms has direct access to a great terrace with a magnificent view over Vedado, Miramar and the ocean.
You are visiting the charismatic capital of the biggest Caribbean island where you will feel right at home. Welcome to 'Mylena y Otto'!
You will receive a warm welcome and taken care of by the owners of a very cosy home in the heart of Vedado, Havana.
Mylena and Otto offering you a place to stay in their third floor, comfortable two double bedrooms apartment with lovely views through a spacious terrace.
For an additional reasonable cost Mylena and Otto offers you a healthy breakfast, laundry service, Internet connection and a secure parking place.
Otto speaks fluent English and will be happy at anytime to provide you with information and support (taxi booking, car rental, bus tickets, sightseeing information and tours in or out of Havana, and etc).
Only cash payments on arrival are accepted!
We advise you to change some money into CUC (Cuban Convertible Peso) upon arrival at the airport.
Printing the house’s address is also recommended.
We offer you 24hr check-in but only after having your exact arrival time in advance! Please send us your flight information.
Mylena and Otto will do their best to make your stay safe, comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable. Short (min. 2 nights) and long-term stays are very welcome and we are looking forward to seeing you soon!
Accommodation Information
The flat has 2 double bedrooms sharing a bathroom (hot and cold water 24 hours), living room, dining room and small but functional kitchen. The spacious rooms are equipped with queen-size bed, air condition, desk, wardrobe, TV, fan and sharing big fridge. One of the rooms has direct access to a great terrace with a magnificent view over Vedado, Miramar and the ocean at the distance. The whole apartment is cleaned on daily base and towels and linen are provided and changed regularly. The bedrooms can be rented separately or as a whole to a family or a group, and each room has its own key.
Location Information
By Car:
You should take Boyeros Avenue, then go straight ahead to the Shiny Fountain, round it, and take 26th Avenue, go straight ahead until 17th street, then turn right until 20 street, then turn right again and you arrive at your destination.
By Taxi:
The best way to reach Havana town and our home from the airport is by taxi. As soon you show our address to the taxi driver he will know how to drive you to our place which is very close to Calle 23 and 'Cementerio de Colon'. The taxi from the airport will cost you 20 to 25 CUC and you will reach our home in about 30 min.

I stayed with Mylena and Otto for 7 days and it was just excellent, the breakfast was very good considering that it is very hard to find food in the stores nearby, the rooms are big enough and have a comfortable bed with a closet, a huge balcony where you can just enjoy sitting there enjoying the ocean view, and all the buildings and streets since it's a 3rd floor.
Mylena and Otto were very kind to us they told us nearby touristic locations to visit, aprox. cab prices, bus prices and lots of usefull advices more, they were really helpfull in a lot of ways many people wouldn't even bother and you can learn a lot from the cuban culture by just talking to them.
I would really recommend staying with them since the location is very good, near the touristic locations and restaurants and the breakfast is wonderfull and at the time you wake up.I give them a 10 for their food, service, price and courtesy.

We had a very nice stay at Mylena and Otto. They were helpful and friendly. Both could speak english. There was a big terrace outside the bedroom, which we during the day or in the evening.
The neighbourhood in Vedado was quiet. The place had a couple of restaurants so it wasn`t necessary to go to old Havana for a meal. When we wanted to visit the old Havana, we went by taxi or we walked along the ocean.
