About Molino Rojo Hostel

The Molino Rojo Hostel is a brand new hostel in a safe and central part of San Jose. It is a stone’s throw from shops, restaurants, bars, clubs, embassies, car rentals and public transport.

We have dormitories and private rooms, all of which have private bathrooms and comfortable beds. However, the hostel was designed to be much more than just a place to sleep: it is a place to meet travelers from around the world to cook together in the communal kitchen, exchange travel information, listen to good music and chill out. We have plenty of communal spaces and a garden.

All the receptionists speak English and can help you plan the rest of your journey and book tours/car rentals if needed. Breakfast and free use of the internet are included in the price. There is also a laundry service, book exchange and DVD library.

Location Information

If you take a bus from the airport, you will pass directly in front of the Molino Rojo.

If you take a taxi, tell the driver that we are on Paseo Colon, diagonally opposite from KFC and in front of the Spanish Embassy.

Customers can cancel their reservation free of charge up to 2 Days before arrival. After this date, charges will be applied by the property up to the full cost of the reservation. Deposits paid are non refundable.
