perfect in every way. Sylvia and Peter are helpful, very knowledgeable and speak excellent English. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Included self serve breakfast which was good and they even provided laundry service. very convenient location - lovely view over the harbour.

Easy walking distance to market, waterfalls and other sights. On bus line and taxi drivers seem to know this place too. The owners are extremely helpful with otherwise hard to find information about local sights and food. The morning breakfast, available in the kitchen lfrom 7:30 to 9:30, included such welcomed items as fresh brewed coffee, yogurt, bananas, orange juice, bagels, toast and homemade tangerine jam.
The room was simple, very clean and comfortable with a spacious bathroom, little refrigerator, and air conditioning.
Perhaps not the absolute cheapest price in town but maybe the best deal for those who are looking for some modern western comforts, great location and very helpful english speaking hosts.

Three of us have a wonderful and memorable stay at Tae Gong Gak Inn. Peter and Sylvia are brilliant, both of them goes all the way to make our trip easy and a pleasure. We were given a lot of tips on where to go for food and help us to plan where to visit so that we can leave Jeju island with a beautiful memories. The roof top at the guesthouse has a wonderful view of the mountain and the sea, well worth the value for money. The room is clean and it sure helps with the ensuite. I strongly recommend a stay at the guest house for their value and the memorable experience that both Peter and Sylvia provide to all the guest who stayed there.

Tae Gong Gak Inn & Guesthouse is by a mile the best guesthouse I have stayed in. The owners Slyvia and Peter and extremely friendly so helpful with arranging things to do on the island.

The guesthouse is situated in a stunning location and is imaculant both on the inside and outside. Overall my stay was relaxing and very enjoyable.

Very homely atmosphere where all can gather at the dining area for a chat. Sylvia and Peter are very helpful in organizing the tour around Jeju
and also for meals. Truly enjoyed our trip despite the rain on the 2nd day where most of the places of interest couldnt be visited bcos of the rain. Will recommend to friends.

This was a very pleasant place to stay.

The location was exceptional with picturesque views over the harbour. The Guesthouse is close to many of the attractions and very accessible to everything on the island. It is also quite close to the airport limousine bus stop.

The large room in which we stayed, was fairly recently renovated so everything looked new and clean. There were a couple of minor faults with the room itself but these were really nothing. The room was very good overall!

There is a large flat screen TV which can be connected to your laptop/PC if you have your own VGA cable. Very nice feature for viewing the days photos.

There is a small kitchen/common room with a computer and large flat screen TV. Breakfast is served there, but the area is not huge for a common room.

The staff are very pleasant and helpful, can also speak English and are interested in hearing your traveling stories.

Overall one of the better places we've stayed in' though not as cheap as some.

As the inn was newly-renovated, it was very clean & comfortable. Ki was very helpful and even helped us with our luggages and all our enquiries were answered with much patience He even walked back all the way to the hostel to get my sick cousin some medicine after sending us to the bus stop. I will never forget the warmth and sincerity displayed. Tae Gong Gak Inn is definitely worth staying at with its reasonable price, awesome hospitality and rooms that make you feel right at home.

Tae Gong Gak Inn puts five star hotels to shame, outclassing them on comfort, affordability and most importantly on service. What sets Tae Gong Gak Inn apart from all others is the care and love you feel from the staff, the garden and even the building. Just moments after checking in you realise that you've found yourself a new home and if time allowed, you could stay here for weeks, for months or even for good. It truly is that good, so good in fact that I've already been twice, once with friends and once with family. If you asked any one of us our opinion, we'd rave to you all the same.

The staff and owners are truly something else. GiBeom and Sylvia run Tae Gong Gak Inn because they love people and it shows. Always happy and always helpful it is these two people who I remember most from my entire stay in Jeju island. Over the past few months they've covered the front hallway with pictures and letters written by past guests, and judging from these, I'd say theres quite a few people who feel the same way as me.

Location is also excellent, you're in the dead centre of the tourist district, walking distance from CheonJi Waterfall and a brand new walking track and bridge to a small island. (Lit up at night time, beautiful!) JeongBang Waterfall is within a 5 minute drive as is Oedolgae & another beautiful rock formation not to be missed. Halla Mountain is also easy to get to. In the warmer months there are a variety of nearby beaches as well. When you stay, ask GiBeom or Sylvia to show you to the nearby Chicken Shabu Shabu restaurant )30 seconds walk from the hotel, next to the carpark. It's extremely delicious and the owners are the second nicest people you'll ever meet, next to GiBeom and Sylvia.

Next time I go to Jeju island, I'll be staying at Tae Gong Gak Inn. And the time after that, and the time after that and the time after that... So seriously, don't even bother looking at anywhere else. Make your booking now and you're on the way to a great time in Jeju island, and who knows, I might even see you there. I'll be back sometime, that's for sure.
