About Alfama Studio

Welcome to Alfama, the oldest and most historical area of Lisbon.

Here lives the soul of the medieval town, a fusion of the melting pot, Lisbon disclosed in the last 2000 years of history.

The Studio caters a cozy living area, newly remodeled, with a brand new bathroom and kitchen. Respecting the integrity of the original architecture, we refurbished this medieval house, for the needs of the modern traveler.

Airport pick-up is available for €15

Getting here;

We provide AIRPORT PICK-UP service, so if you are found of little hassle, you can ring us when you arrive in Lisbon, and we'll pick you up 10-15min later. This service as a charge of €15

Alfama is a 10 min walking from Baixa Downtown, and is home to the most interesting historic area of Lisbon.


- From Lisbon Airport

40 min. Bus 44 (doesn't run Saturday and Sunday); 745, and get off at Praca do Comercio - €1.30. Comute to the subway to Santa Apolónia (1 subway stop only) and go to Rua do Jardim do Tabaco. Go up the first stairs on the right hand side, all the way up, till you find 'Beco dos Paus' It's the white Building on the right hand side.

30 min. 'Aerobus' 91 and get off at Praca do Comercio - €4.20 - (runs from 7:40a.m. to 8:45p.m.). Take the subway to Santa Apolónia (1 subway stop only) and go to Rua do Jardim do Tabaco. Go up the first stairs on the right hand side, all the way up, till you find 'Beco dos Paus' It's the white Building on the right

15 min. Taxi - we recommend buying the taxi voucher in the tourism desk at the airport. €15,37 or €18,44 at night and weekends


- From Santa Apolonia Train Station

Just walk to Rua do Jardim do Tabaco. Go up the first stairs on the right hand side, all the way up, till you find 'Beco dos Paus' It's the white Building on the right
