Stayed here for four days in August - 2010. Very nice host (Ivo), who provided us with excellent service. If you are planning on spending the days at the beach, u might want to find a place abit closer to the beach, seeing as this apartment is a few kilometres away, and requires taxi to get there. Other than that this is an excellent apartment.

Clean and large top floor 3 bedroomed air conditioned appartment with two bathrooms and 3 toilets. Our group consisted of 5 males (with age ranges between 49 and 58) but accomodation is large enough to sleep up to 8 comfortably with two people using the the big lounge as a fourth sleeping area. All bedrooms have access to balconies. From the front balcony there are impressive roof top sea views over to the port where cruise ships arrive on a regular basis.
it is located in a mainly residential area about 20 mins walk from the old town. When you get fed up of the walking make use of the wonderfully cheap bus service with buses running every few minutes right through to 1.30am. Bus stop is opposite the appartment so its very convenient getting into the Pile gate end of the old town.
Be aware there isnt a lift so the five flights of steps are a tad challenging after returning from a few beers in the early hours. (75 steps to be precise not that I was counting!!)

An absolute bonus of staying in these appartments is the splendidly customer focused Ivo. Ivo is a bit of a discount king when it comes to arranging an evening meal or arranging trips. Tell him what you want to do and he will do his best to help and get a good price for you. He comes over as a good guy who wants you to get the best you can out of your holiday.
He was a very friendly helpful fellow who was there if you wanted him but also not offended if you didnt want him around or if you didnt take up one of his trip offers. He was a guy we had a lot of fun with and added to our excellent holiday experience in this terrific Croatian city.

We stayed at 3 A Apartman Marija for one night en-route to Montenegro. There were 8 of us, five adults and three children; two aged 8 and one aged 6.

The apartment was better than we had imagined; spacious, clean, cool and more than well equipped for an overnight stay. The location is convenient and is a short bus ride from the old town centre (probably a 20 min walk).

We arrived around 8.00 pm and were tired, hungry and thirsty. The host, Ivor was most welcoming, assisting with our luggage and greeting us with cold drinks. We asked for advice on a place to eat and he booked us a table in a restaurant in town (and we got some discount too). He was helpful, friendly and good fun and couldn't do enough to make our short stay comfortable and enjoyable.

It was a great start to our holiday and we only wish we wish we had booked to stay longer. We can highly recommend this apartment!
