About Dubrovnik Villa Valjalo
Apartments have ground floor for hostel like accommodation plus 2 floors of self catering studio apartments. Each apartment has a balcony overlooking the sea with a stunning view. There is a swimming pool and a barbeque which is available for all our guests.Owner speaks English and some German, apartments are situated in a beautiful part of Dubrovnik close to the bay of Lapad, where there are several beaches, a tree lined promenade with open air cafes and restaurants, and nightly entertainment.

I had booked two nights for the hostel portion of Villa Valjalo, and despite paying a deposit, I was only able to stay there one night. Because of over-booking, my first night was spent in the spare room of a woman who lived a short distance away, and because of Villa Valjalo's shoddy treatment, I was forced to share a bed with a complete stranger. When I complained about this, the owner of Villa Valjalo told me "That is how you meet people."
The hostel dorm is about 14 mattresses on the dirty floor of what appears to be an old dance studio. There is no kitchen, another room with about four beds and one bathroom for everyone.
The pool and the view were lovely, but didn't make up for the disgusting dorm. The place also rents apartments, so maybe that is what warranted the positive reviews. But for me, I would warn people to stay away.

At first it's a little bit to find the house. And it's complicate parking the car. Overall is a good place and the owner OK.
