Welcome to Hostel Ka'beh!
English Spoken Well!
For those non-Mayan speakers out there: 'Ka'beh' is actually a Mayan word combination that means 'The day after tomorrow'
We chose a Mayan name in order to honor the rich local and regional Mayan culture. Chichén Itzá is actually about an hour and a half away! (Famous Mayan pyramids, one of the new 7 wonders of the world!)
As for the meaning, we chose 'The day after tomorrow' (Pasado Mañana in Spanish) because we want to work to inspire others and ourselves to hope, and expect a better tomorrow!
Now, on to Amenities:
The Location: You'll find that Hostel Ka'beh is extremely centric!
* You're 1/2 block from the major Down-Town park (El Parque de las Palapas)
* You're about 4 or 5 blocks from the Bus Station (a 5 - 10 min walk, no running required ;) )
* We're 3 blocks from the Down-Town 'party' scene on the Yaxchilan Av.
* Lastly: You'll be about 2 blocks from the buses that take you to the beautiful legendary beaches of Cancun for a mere 7 pesos (Some $0.50 USD)
The Hostel was designed in the Mexican 'Hacienda' architectural style. The building has a beautiful façade with huge wooden doors, and amazing tile work. All our bunks were designed and made locally. Note: Our beds are *Air Mattresses*. We chose to use air mattresses due to local competition having problems with bed bugs.
We have on-site maximum security, and there will always be a Hostel Representative available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to attend to your needs and inquiries.
Your rate includes: A/C, a Hearty Mexican/Continental breakfast (Like... a real one!) Wireless Internet, Linens/Towels, Fully Equipped Kitchen, 24 Reception/Security, Coffee + Tea 24/7, Book Ex, Currency Ex, Multilingual Staff, and for every week you stay you get one Free use of our Laundry Service!
So... in short, at Hostel Ka'beh, you'll wake up to the pleasant sounds of birds in the morning, the smell of fresh air, coffee, in-scents, and breakfast!
Thanks for reading, we hope to see you soon!

Leaving the bus station, you turn left, cross Uxmal Av. and walk straight on Margaritas/Tulipanes/Alcatraces (basically, follow the same street).
You'll pass a park with a stage with a large white canvas-like roof, keep going.
Once you've passed the parking lot for this park, you're only half a block away!
Look for large open wooden doors just before the street corner. Welcome to Hostel Ka'beh! (Ring the bell if necessary!)
