Greenland Guesthouse is nestled within the exotic Byron Bay rain forest. We have a beautiful swimming pool, or you can take a short walk to Tallow Beach for a dip in the ocean and some quality sunbathing on the nearly secluded beach.

Greenland Guesthouse is 3 km from town - which is a 5 minute drive. We are surrounded by lush nature and birds - even wallabies, flying foxes and wild bush turkeys - and secluded from the busy centre. We provide a free shuttle into or out of town from 9am-9pm. You can also take advantage of our bicycles to make a nice tour of the town… or bike around the loop path through Arakwal National Park and Tallow Beach to Suffolk Park.

Located out of the busy Byron Bay town centre, Greenland Guesthouse and the beach nearby are naturally chill - away from the noise of partying & nightclubs. Many people give us a poor rating for location because we are not in town, but we think it is a good place to relax and use as a departure point for the tours and activities you enjoy.

We have a nice, intimate social atmosphere - many guests come and then book more nights after finding a nice little home away from home - and you won’t get bored or pay extra, because we give you free use of our laptop, wi-fi, DVDs and Austar satellite TV.

Overall, we are a small hostel/guesthouse with occupancy of 23 people, or less, at any time. We offer a great value - usually the best rates in Byron Bay - and we strive to offer you good, attentive service. We have only one bunk bed, and our beds are spread out, with lots of space to put your luggage. Every room has its own bathroom.

Our pizza is "one of the best in Australia" and we have a small breakfast menu.

Going south out of town, we are just past Rainforest Resort, located across the road from the Byron Bay Golf Club. We are located before The Byron@Byron Resort.
