Guesthouse opened in 2009 with personal and friendly ambiente. Pensión Gárate is situated in a privileged place in Donostia - San Sebastian, located 50 meters from the famous Bahia de la Concha, in the heart of the city. In its environs you can find the most important commercial of San Sebastián.

There´s only a few minutes walk to the Harbour´s District, the marvelous Mountain Urgull with a beautiful sight over the Atlantic-Sea and the Old Town with all its leisure and gastronomic offers as Tapas and 'Pintxos'. Close to the Pension you will find the cities biggest and most important car parks.

Located just 50 meters from the central Beach Playa de la Concha, in the heart of San Sebastián. 20 minutes walking to the Beach Playa de Ondarreta with the famous sculptures 'Peine del Viento' of the international known Basque artist Eduardo Chillida and the Igueldo Mountain wit its outstanding sights to the Santa Klara Island and the Bahia of San Sebastián (it´s worth while to go up in the small Funicular). 10 Minutes to the monumental Old Town of San Sebastián. 15 Minutes walking to the Congress-Centre, Music-Hall and Filmfestival-Cinema 'Kursaal' and the spectacular Surfer´s Beach Playa de la Zurriola.
