Why Faro?
The Tour of the Ria Formosa attracts visitors because of the contrasts between its expanses of water and the islands with their shifting sands and fabulous beaches. There also contrasts between the cities of FARO and OLHÃO, the first with its houses of great antiquity, the second ingrained with sun and salt, for ever linked to the sea and to fishing. And this tour will open up the wonderful world of the 'Ria Formosa Natural Park'!!!
'Vila Adentro'-the oldest part of the city centre of Faro contain some of its most important examples of cultural heritage, making this a key place to visit.

Warning: DO NOT BOOK THIS HOSTEL. Most of the people who stay there seem to dislike it, but we didn't even get a chance. We booked a room, paid an advance, got a confirmation and when we arrived it turned out that the place is closed. The message at the door told us to call them at several mobile numbers. However they didn't even know how to write them correctly which seems ridiculous! None of them worked or answered. Look at the pictures as proof:

Having spent there 30 minutes we headed for the big Faro Youth Hostel (the state-owned Pousada de Juventude) and easily got a room there.
Obviously the guys at Faro Lounge won't reply to any of your e-mails, not to mention any refund. So... just don't go there.
