The Hotel Loewenbraeu" and the restaurant Der Loewenbraeu" Köln
Since 1974 is our restaurant with its traditional german and international kitchen a component part of Cologne Old Town. Our hotel, with its 17 single- and double rooms, was completely redecorated and reopened in year 2006.
All rooms are appointed with bath/wc or shower/wc, TV and telephone. A big part of them are river sided and have a great view over the Rhine and all the buzz of activity on the rivers promenade.
Centrally located all around are the biggest museums, Colognes monumental cathedral, the central train station, the musical dome and dozens of restaurants, pubs and bars.
The access to the fairs ground and the "Lanxess Arena" on the other side of the Rhine is just 5 minutes by tram or 15 minutes walking. The way to the loveliest shopping streets of Cologne is also just 3 minutes walking, in a lower time you are able to get to "Heumarkt" bus- and tram connection point.

Directions
How to get from Cologne main train station to our hotel. The way takes at least maximum 10 minutes walking.
Leave main train station through the main exit, take to stairs on your left to the "dome-platform", pass the dome on the left, pass the roman Germanic museum and cross the "Heinrich-Böll-Platz" with the philharmony under it.
Take the stairs down to the Rhine promenade and walk "river up" (you are already on our street "Frankenwerft"). You will see our hotel, the only bright blue painted building on the right side a few metres in front of the "Deutzer" bridge!
