Island Guesthouse opened in Oct. 2009, is the newest and coolest guesthouse in Jeju, South Korea. With unique design and colourful decoration, we offer you a cozy and warm environment during your stay.

Our guesthouse is located in southwestern part of Jeju island. We are not far from Jungmun area which is the center of tourist's main attractions, and you can get there in 15 minutes by bus. A port is 4km away from our guesthouse, and there you can take the ferry to Marado - the most south island in Korea.

'I had spent more than 7 years on the road, dormitory and tent were my home. I desired to open a guesthouse of unique design somewhere and someday.' An experience backpacker and travel writer from Malaysia has made her dream come true in Jeju Island.

'I didn't spend money to buy souvenirs, but I loved to collect sands, stones from around the world. Beautiful nature has given us the most beautiful present' You will see many beautiful seashells and different color of sand which from different desert around the world.

Our uniquely designed bar is a good place to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea with other travellers from all over the world. Bring a book and enjoy the sun at the garden and have a BBQ with friends at night.

'I fully understand the panic when you have language barrier in a foreign country.' I can speak Engligh, Chinese, Korean, Malaysian and Spamish. I will do my best to help you out.
