This is a Trusted Review. Why?
Had a great stay at Luka's Lodge. Luka was extremely hospitable and welcoming, very helpful and went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. He cooked us a lovely BBQ and we enjoyed some of his home-made olive oil and wine. We highly recommend you stay with Luka if you visit Hvar.

From Hvar Ferry
-------------------
The walk to Luka's Lodge takes about 5 minutes at a medium pace.
When you get off the boat at Hvar harbour, you'll be on the pier. The pier stretches out to your left, and you can see the castle in the distance:
Almost in front of you (slightly to the left), you'll see a small ice cream shop.
Walk behind the ice cream shop towards the steps. There's a cash machine to the right of the stairs if you need to take some money out.
Walk up the stairs. There is a restaurant about half way up on your right.
At the top of the stairs there will be the local football team emblem on the left:
That's the hard bit done! Now you're at the top of the stairs, turn right and start walking along the street. You'll be walking along this street for about 5 minutes.
After about 80 meters you'll see a station of the cross on your left, looking like a stone hut. It will have the roman numeral 14 (XIV) above it. Keep walking.
Another few meters and you'll see some stairs down to the water on your right. Keep walking.
Another station of the cross (number 10 this time), and the street will straighten out. Keep walking.
After a bit over 100 meters, you'll pass several more stations of the cross, and then this school on your left. Keep walking.
Just after the school you'll see a sign saying 'OPREZ!' to the right of the street. You guessed it, keep on walking.
About 30 meters after the sign, there will be a street to the left. Turn left here and start walking up. This next small street takes about 3 minutes.
After the first small ascent, the street will flatten out and disappear to the left. Keep on following the street.
The street will come to a small flight of stairs. Take the stairs, and at the top there will be a small pedestrian crossing.
At the top of the stairs, turn right and follow the street. Almost there!
After 100 meters, to the left you will see a yellow sign for Luka's Lodge.
Walk up the stairs, and Luka will be there to greet you!
