At Drop Inn you get a clean bed, breakfast and free wireless Internet
for low prices. But in reality, what we offer at Drop Inn is so much
more - a community of true blue travelers, backpackers and eternal
nomads. It's where travel tales get swapped, travel tips exchanged and
new friendships made!
We're a backpacker hostel in the heart of booming Lavender Street, near
to the historic areas of Arab Street, Bugis and Little India. A mere
half-hour on the MRT (that's the subway!) from Changi Airport or a
15-minute taxi ride. We are also only a few stops away from glitzy
Orchard Road and the cultural district of City Hall (Esplanade, war
memorials and Marina Bay Sands.
Within the hostel, you have a choice of 20 individual beds split
between two dorms (a 6-bedder and a 14-bedder), and two cozy private
rooms. For those couples who appreciate some privacy, there's even a
special double room that comes its own luggage area!
All beds/rooms come with free linen, clean blankets and conveniently
located shared bathroom and shower facilities.
Run by backpackers for backpackers, we know Singapore best! Whether you
want to splurge on a romantic French meal or eat cheaply but very well,
we can guarantee that our friendly staff will be able to point you in
the right direction.
Plus, we're close to everything a true backpacker could possibly need.
An MRT station that's a mere 5-minutes walk away, ATMs, coffee shops
(there's three!), bars and a mini-mart.

noon and 6pm daily
2. Please note that we do not accept Singaporeans.

== Check In Policy ==
Please take note our earliest check-in time is 1:00 PM, and the latest
check-out time is 12:00 PM.
Counters is opened daily from 8:30 AM to 10:00 PM and contact us before
you book if you want to check in at any other timing to see if we are
able to accommodate your timing. All time is GMT+8.
If we are able to accommodate your timing, there will be a late check
in surcharge of S$5 per person to check in after 10pm.

==Cancellation Policy==
We will keep the room/bed for you for 2 hours from the stated time of
arrival. After which it will be released for booking. If there is a
delay in your itinerary, please let us know through phone or email.
If you cancel your room/bed within 72 hours, you will be charged the
full amount for the whole stay.

RSSI stayed here for 5 nights in late January 2010. Made new friends every single day & on a couple of occasions we even had 8 or 9 people from the hostel just wander around and spend the day together. Common room at the entrance is well set up for meeting people.
Really well set up to cater for anything you'll need & the owner is extremely helpful & seems to enjoy lazing around with her guests too.
Would definitely stay here again if I go back to Singapore!

The Drop Inn had only recently opend at the time of our visit but already the manager had succeeded in achieving a great mixture of services and facilities.
The rooms are clean, fresh, spacious, comfortable, quiet and a joy to sleep in. The beds are comfortable, there is air conditioning in each room, lockers for each person free of charge, free breakfast (which is a bonus!), a really cool area in the lobby to chill out, and there are clean, fully functioning bathrooms. All at a very reasonable price. What more could you ask for?
The location of the hostel is great too being just around the corner from Little India and only across the street from the nearest MRT station for easy access from the airport.
Another great thing about this place is the people who run it; they're very friendly and extremely helpful. Genuinely nice people with time for their guests... great.
I would recommend this place to anyone, from singles to couples to groups of people or even families looking for somewhere to stay in the great city of Singapore... I know I will be going back for sure!!
