The YHA is definitely a pass though kind of hostel. I wouldn't recommend it for people looking for a base to explore Bangkok, but for an early or late flight it's a great place to stay.

The YHA is definitely a pass though kind of hostel. I wouldn't recommend it for people looking for a base to explore Bangkok, but for an early or late flight it's a great place to stay. We stayed on our first night in Bangkok and our last night flying out of the country and found the place to be clean, comfortable, and staff to be very friendly and helpful in all of our arrangements. The hostel has a small menu to choose from, which was also nice when arriving late in the evening. As far as location--the only perk is its proximity to the airport, but for what we needed it more than served its purpose. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick place to stay in Bangkok.
