The guesthouse is situated alongside one of Ayutthaya’s many ancient temples. The traditional Thai style building has been updated with modern facilities. The rooms are clean and spacious, all with air conditioning and private en suite bathrooms.
Enjoy Thai hospitality at its best, with parties most nights in the hostel's garden bar, great big eggs on toast breakfasts, bicycle hire, maps of the city, transport pick up/drop off. Everything has been taken care of.

Twin single or double bed rooms are also available, and the private rooms have a private bathroom as well as air conditioning. Laundry service, bicycle hire and maps of the city are also available at the guesthouse.
Location Information
Talk to any tuck-tuck driver for a cheap ride to Moradok Thai Guesthouse from Ayutthaya train or bus station. However, the cost will be minimal as we are less 2 kilometers away from the train station.
However, we are very close to the Ayutthaya train station and you can walk to the guesthouse in around 10 to 15 minutes.
Head south on Route 3053, then turn left on Route 309 and walk straight along Route 309.
Go past the first roundabout and the guesthouse is shortly after.

Nice house but overfriendly staff and awful thai massage, be careful!!
Positive points : Very good value for money, nice house and location. free transfer to station, the other girl was very nice.
Yet, staff (especially woman called "Samsei") was "over"friendly : she kept asking what we had done, what we were up to (and hardly spoke english, which made communication difficult), she was very insisting for us to have some drinks at her bar, we could not go out of our room without being "caught" by her and if we did not want to stop for a drink, she would make a strange face and look very upset. She seemed a nice person at the very beginning, but strange in the end, with changes in her mood. She is the kind of person who wants to make friends with everybody but in a too insisting way. If you just want to do your own business, this place is not for you, you are being watched over there!!
Another very disappointing aspect : I had a thai massage there, which was a real disaster. It was made by a woman who I would call a bulldozer! Apparently, the massage was not supposed to be given by this woman, but should have been by Samsei. Yet, because Samsei was a bit drunk that night, instead of just telling me "sorry, it is not the best time for your massage", I was told to go with this very unfriendly woman for my massage. which was everything but pleasant : very hard, brutal, it was clearly not done by a professional, it was just the worst massage I had ever had!
The worst is that the day after, I was told "Oh sorry, the massage must have been a little hard, it should not have been the case, but Samsei was a bit drunk..."
I would rather have been told the truth before this horrible hour I spent with bulldozer!!
