About House in front of the sea
Located on the cusp of Centro Havana & Vedado you will find a beautiful room overlooking the sea and the Malecón Habanero. You will have the pleasure of experiencing the Havana sunset sipping Mojito´s, coffee and other Cuban drinks while enjoying this lively location.
You will not need to take any taxis to visit the old part of city because it is just 15minutes’ walking distance from us. We will provide you with a private room/bathroom, personal refrigerator, spacious balcony, dining and living rooms, kitchen, and lunch/dinner/laundry can be arranged for you if you so desire.
We have an English speaking person on staff so being able to communicate with us will be no problem.
* Very Important: We need to know the arrival time and flight number of all our guests, so can you please inform us as soon as possible?
We are able to receive groups till 6 people and if you’d like to stay longer, you can get a discount.
We also offer dinner and specialise in Cuban fare, international food or any cuisine that you prefer.

Important! Once you have made your reservation it is very important for us to know at what time you will arrive to our hostel. If you are not sure of this information at least let us know by email the number of your flight for us to call to the airport.

Location Information
Our place is right on the Malecón Habanero overlooking the sea. It is also very near of Maceo's park and Torreon de San Lázaro. You can not miss it.
The best way to get to our hostel from the airport José Martí is taking a taxi from this one. The price should not be more than 25CUC.
If you came from the Víazul bus station to take a taxi is also the best way but in this case the price should not be more than 4 or 5 CUC.
We do not recommend the public buses this not a good way of transport here especially if you are carrying any kind of baggage.

Firstly i'd like to start by pointing out the fact that "travellers point" had sent out the wrong quote before we arrived as we were quoted A$14.24 a room and we later had found out it was actually per person per room. Not that it was a massive difference for us as it was still very good value for money but it had caused a discomfort in our communications and we really did not need to confront Chely about something that had nothing to do with her. In saying that there are a few things at the accommodation i need to point out. The internet is a dial up network and can only be used for very short amount of times but once entering the country you will understand that there is almost no internet available in the country so its still a plus. We also had a few issues with the water. Fair enough if there was some sort of plumping difficulties involved but we later found after speaking up that the water would magically appear if you would say something. I have woken up thirsty in the middle of the night and not been able to get it from my room. I had woken up in the mornings with weak showers that then died whilst i had soap in my eyes. Luckily my husband was there to speak spanish and insist she turn the water back on. Tell you the truth i still don't know what the deal with that is. The place is beautiful on the Malecon but our back room had no breeze and no windows unlike the rest of the rooms which was disappointing because i don't enjoy airconditioning. The food is also a seperate amount payable at the end of your stay which is also quite pricey by local standard so we preffered eating out. Actually there is a lovely family where we stayed just two seconds walk along the water where the food is alot more "Cuban" and authentic. The family are so welcoming and have so much more of a family touch to them and the accomodation is great too. Her name is Coralia at Marina #61 apto 23 e/ Hornos y Vapor Centro Habana.
Overall Cuba is magic and not for the closed minded

I'm sorry to hear you were confused by the pricing. I checked your booking confirmation and the price is clearly shown as A$ 28.48 per room. This would also have shown on the page where you select the number of rooms, and again on the checkout page before you entered your payment details.

Lovely view off the balcony, comfortable beds. Shared Shower/Bathroom. It was adequate although we did have many outages of electricity during our stay which proved a little annoying.
