Adequate for the purpose intended. It is fine as a cheap place to stay overnight but it is very basic. I had booked and paid for a 4 bed dorm through Travellerspoint but it seems they did not receive the booking because the 4 bed dorm was full and I ended up in a 7 bed dorm!
Don't expect to sleep. There is a nightclub close by, and being Argentina, this goes until morning.

We are so sorry to hear that Kaixo Hostel Central did not offer you the accommodation you had actually booked. Since they are notified in triplicate of every booking made, they are certainly expected to be aware of all bookings and keep the rooms free!

arrived at 10 pm to a warm welcome; rooms are not ensuite but bathrooms are fully functional/convenient; run sort of like a hippie ccommune of the 60s--wash your own dishes, kitchen & frig available--everything on the honor system; close to the plaza mayor, buses on the next street, great value for the money; have internet & will make calls/give suggestions
We stayed 1 night at Kaixo Hostel Central and it was great! Staff is very friendly and helpfull. Location could not be better. Rooms are beautifull. Check out time at 12.00 is wonderfull, most hostels have their check out time at 10.00. The only comment we have is that they should get new pillows, but that is really the only thing.
