This is a Trusted Review. Why?
This hotel is very quirky. The sheets were clean but the shared bathrooms were not. It is in a good location and has great service. The price seemed high for what it was. We would not stay there again
Wow, I cannot believe how horrified I was when I arrived, based on the description and what you actually get, nothing even close.
It's an old place, I will admit the main area is very cool and hippy. Kitchen is accessible to all. The bedroom I stayed in was horrible, old, and unbearable hot, suffocatingly so. No air circulating. Even with the fan it was unbearable. i stayed in the Chiqui room. I couldn't open up the window as it opened up to a sitting area for guests.
The shared bathroom was another disgrace, very grimy, dirty, old. The worst I have ever seen.
The best part was the BED BUGS, no joke, I came home covered in bites, which of course I didn't realize until i got back to my home country and there was nothing I could do after that. SO PLEASE be aware and do not stay there until you get confirmation the place has been fumigated. It has been a night mare for me since I got back.
The people who worked there were very nice though
