The location is good, it's just a ten minutes walk to the Old Town of Split, where you find lots of restaurants, souvenirshops, the port with the ferries, a market and a lot more. You can park in front of the house on the pavement - that seems to be usual in Split.

The owner is very friendly but there are sometimes troubles with organisation. We booked private ensuite but on our arrival there was no apartment free, so we had a room with shared bathroom on our first night.

About Suky Apartment

Hostel Suky is my new hostel. Now it is located on 'MATICE HRVATSKE 88A' It has few apartments and multiple rooms. Big and comfort rooms, we have twin rooms, double rooms, triple bed rooms, quad rooms. I can take up to 15 people. We also offer en suite and private rooms and shared wc. Rooms have a beautiful view, big and clean, linen and towels are included and other services you require. For example if you are going on a short trip we can take care of your luggage. Safe rooms and a safe neighborhood, peaceful and quiet. If you are coming with a car you have a free parking.

FOR PEOPLE WHO NEED VISAS, I WILL NOT GUARANTEE FOR YOUR COMING TO CROATIA.

DO NOT TALK TO THE PEOPLE ON THE STREET WHO OFFER ROOMS THEY ARE NOT SAFE AND IT IS NOT SECURE TO GO WITH THEM!!

The owner is very friendly but there are sometimes troubles with organisation. We booked private ensuite but on our arrival there was no apartment free, so we had a room with shared bathroom on our first night. In the end we got a large apartment and had a great week.

Be prepared to pay cash in Euros on your arrival. We had to go to a croatian bank and change Kunas in Euros to pay the rent. There is no "Suky Apartment"-Sign on the house, just go in.

Cleanliness and service are not the usual standard. We had a full dustbin from previous guests and the bathroom had not been cleaned properly. There was no cleaning or service during the whole week (rubbish, towels, toilette paper etc)
Our apartment had a bathroom, a kitchen, a living room with TV and a bedroom. There was also a terrace but no chairs to sit there.

Split is a good town for daytrips. We drove to Dubrovnik and Plitvice. You can also visit some of the islands. The beach "Lucica" at the beginning of Podstrana is good to reach and beautiful. Inside it's sandy, outside gravel. There are also some trees, if you like a bit of shadow. 'Bacvice' beach in Split is the 'Party beach'.

It is a bit small but the location is absolutely perfect. But is perfect for spend a few days in split in the old town. The owner is so helpful and nice.

If you are coming to the airport we can pick you up, for a amount of 250 kunas (taxi costs 300) if you want me to pick you up you have to call me to arrange the transport, call me on 00385 91 925 4004.
If you are coming with a bus or a train we can pick you up for 50 kunas.
You can also come with a bus from BAZAR, you take number 18 for 3 bus stops, you enter in the bus on the left side.
You can also come on foot following the map of the Split city, which you can get in the OFFICE TOURIST BIRO.
You can even take a taxi in the center and tell to take you to my address MATICE HRVATSKE 88A.
