Melbourne Airport by is about 2 hours drive by car and the best way is to hire a car and drive directly to Phillip Island.

Alternatively you can get a bus from Spencer Street in Melbourne (main bus station in the city) directly to Philip Island. The bus will arrive at Cowes supermarket and from here to the B&B there is another 7 kilometers ride, which will be about 15 Australian Dollars by taxi.
