I had a great time at this hotel. The experience was very unique - from seeing a small town in the highlands to talking with the proprietors to observing the interior decor of the hotel. My stay here was somewhat serendipitous, and turned out to be one of the most rewarding experiences of my trip due to it not being the usual 2 nights in a hotel down in Innsbruck. The location was a little further out from Innsbruck than I percieved when booking, but that's my own fault for not paying closer attention. That fact, however, is one of the main reasons the stay was so memorable.

Stunning location 20 mins bus ride from Innsbruck. Bus is the 4141 and leaves from Steig F outside the train station 15 mind past the hour.
Hotel wasn't busy when we arrived and the advertised pool and sauna were not available. Food finished early but we got good grub at a pub down the road.
Nice romantic gateway.
