A bit out of town which proved to be a plus. Quiet and the bus pass purchased from reception made the commute very easy. The property has been tastefully renovated with modern bathrooms. Breakfast was good.

Rooms very clean and cosy, nice restaurant with good food (plus a wide choice of options for the breakfast buffet), friendly staff, convenient location (ca. 10-min. ride by bus to the city center - if you don't want to drive there). Excellent value for money. I definitely recommend this hotel to other Salzburg visitors

About Hotel Kohlpeter
Hotel Kohlpeter: A charming country inn style hotel situated in the city of Salzburg in an area of the city appropriately known as "the village in the city". Here you can reside stylishy and comfortably, in cosy peaceful surroundings.
Be it the city centre, the mountains or the lake district, all are within easy reach of our hotel.
City centre: 2,5 km 12 minutes by bus/car. Airport: 2 km 10 minutes by car. Railstation: 2,5 km.
All our rooms are equipped with shower, WC, hairdryer, SAT-TV, telephone and internet access with balcony, non smoker or smoker. The hotel was completly renovated in 2004 with modern and comfortable quiet rooms. Enjoy the breakfast-buffet included in the room price.
You can park your car in our free hotel parking lot. You can catch the public bus (80 m from hotel) into the city centre (12 minutes).
The Hotel Kohlpeter is a traditional hotel and a well-known meeting point for insiders, The style is rustic and nostalgic - typical Austrian country-style (restaurant and bar). Our restaurant is well-known for its excellent cuisine and its delightful garden for outdoor dining.
