This is a Trusted Review. Why?
Excellent location - across the street from the Naschmarkt and walking distance to virtually every other sight we wanted to see. It's also close enough to the Karlsplatz underground station if you wish to venture a little further, as well as the tram line that takes you directly to the Vien Meidling/Philadelphiabrucke train station.
The rooms and building were old but very clean and well-kept. We were there during a heat-wave and there was no A/C, but the windows opened wide, and a portable fan was waiting in the room when we got there.
The staff were extremely polite and friendly, and the complementary breakfast was fantastic (eggs, bacon, bread, meats, cheeses, yogurt, cereal, coffee, teas, orange juice - even champagne to make your own Mimosas). The excellent wi-fi coverage through the whole building was a welcome change from the inconsistent hotspots we encountered at other places throughout our trip.
If you stay here, make sure to make a stop next door at the Alt Vien Kaffee Haus for their excellent coffee.
