Budget Accommodation Central America Cuba Havana Bed & Breakfasts Hostal Valencia
Excellent hotel located right in the middle of old Havana. The hanging vines and quaint courtyard area make a refreshing change from your standard sterile hotel lobby. Huge rooms and an excellent restaurant make this hotel a fine choice that won't break the bank.
This house, built at the end of 18th century, belonged to the Sotolongo family. A few meters away from San Francisco Convent and the Arms Square, near the oldest areas of the city.

Its carved red roof, balustrades and iron work of its interior courtyard give plenty of old world charm and local character to this hotel. The beautiful interior is light and fresh and overflowing with exuberant vegetation. It's an oasis in the centre of this historic area.
All of the rooms are equipped with color TV, private bathrooms and mini bars. It also offers the best Cuban cigars on the first floor at La Casa Del Tobacco.
The Bohemian Nostalgia bar, decorated in 1950's patterns is one of the attractions of this small hotel where you can find some of the best local music of the fifties. It is a unique opportunity for you to offer a toast to your luck, featuring The Cocktail of The House “White Sheets'.
Finally, there is no finer place to eat Paella in all of Havana than the Hostal Valencia Restaurant. It has been the winner of the Best Prize at the International Paella’s Contest in Sueca, Spain for two years running.

This is a Trusted Review. Why?
Excellent hotel located right in the middle of old Havana. The hanging vines and quaint courtyard area make a refreshing change from your standard sterile hotel lobby. Huge rooms and an excellent restaurant make this hotel a fine choice that won't break the bank. My only complaint is that the breakfast was average but I've since learnt not to expect much from inclusive buffets in Cuba.
