About The Orchid Residence
The Residence Orchid located in a restful place of 'El Vedado' at few minutes walk from downtown.
El Vedado is the district in the centre of La Havana and it represents a financial area with important companies, ministerial offices, shops and commerce.
It is situated next to the Decorative Arts Museum, Plaza de la Revolución, Cristobal Colon Cemetery, Mella Theathre, Dance Museum or Napoleonic Musem .Also you can find easily many restaurants and bars with the 40 and 50's Cuba atmosphere (Habana Cafe, El Gato Tuerto, Jazz Cafe etc)

We are a charming family owned the residence with 4 marital bedrooms.
Each room has air conditioning, security box, and hot/cold water in shower, bathroom, Jacuzzi, phone service, color TV set/CD player, 110/220
AC power supply sockets, refrigerator and mini-bar.

If you take a taxi, you will only have to pay the official taxi rate (about 15$) for transportation from the airport to downtown. (20 kms)

My husband and I have just returned from a two week stay with Mirtha and Leopoldo. We very much enjoyed our stay in their enormous house. We had a lovely big clean bedroom with a balcony, a sitting room with balcony and an enormous bathroom.
We enjoyed a lovely breakfast each day before setting off to explore Havana and other areas within Cuba.
The house is located only half an hour away from the airport and very close to exploring the whole of Havana. The national bus company is also a short distance away.
We will certainly be returning - hopefully in the not too distant future.
We were both made very welcome.
