It is a very nice place to live with a good view of the river.I love this hotel.Everything is so nice,you can cook your meal and enjoy it with beautiful scenery.It is a nice place to live.But it is better to change the sheet and coverlet into white ones.It is my favourite.

Hostel Skippy is a home away from home. It is a charming and cozy hostel created out of a beautiful 200-year-old house along the Vltava River. The town is a place to enjoy life and relax. At hostel skippy you can expect an environment that has been created especially for that. The house is located by the river which affords a very peaceful and soothing stay. With a maximum capacity of 12 guests it is unlike your typical hostel experience. The hostel has a large terrace overlooking the river, river access, breathtaking views, and a fully stocked guest kitchen for preparing your meals.

Our guests generally extend their stay by a few days. We strongly recommend that you plan to stay for more than a glance. Cesky Krumlov is truly one of the most charming small towns around and this region is one of the most beautiful in the country. Day trips to the Sumava National forest for walking, hiking or cycling are just a short (and cheap) train or bus ride away. And other small towns and villages all around can be enjoyed on a bicycle.

We are a five minute walk from the town square as well as beautiful forest trails. There is a supermarket open 7 days a week on our street, and the now quite popular *Krumlos Pub* which has fabulous food, drinks, and a great staff, is located just 50 meters away. There is also the newly opened Café Antonie for those interested in very inexpensive and delicious breakfast or snacks throughout the day. It is also located just a few doors away.

Upon arrival we will give you a map of the town and helpful tips about where to eat, drink, and have a great time. We will also be happy to assist you with day trips, bike rentals, boat rentals, horseback riding, arranging a massage, or to help you with with planning onward travels. Hostel Skippy does not allow smoking indoors. We don't have a curfew or lockout and no bunk beds.
