The staff were great, the room was clean and affordable. My only complaint is that the room didnt have very good wifi, however this is very minor in the bigger scheme of things. I would recommend anyone to stay there.

I did not have a good experience with 525-inn. The 525-inn itself actually is not an Inn. At the adress on the site the office is located (had to wait for the boss of 525 inn for more than 15 minutes). The room where I stayed in was at a totally different location in a home of a family (in the Chinese neighbourhood). The website only shows the adress of the office at dundas street.
It was not possible to get the room that I reserved (a room with a private bathroom), I had to share the bathroom with a large amount of other guests. The pricing of the room was very vague. The man that rented the room to us did not speak english very well and the price changed multiple times during the negotiation.
The beds were hard and the noise from watertap and shower in the bathroom (next to the room) was very loud.
Plusses were that the room was quite clean and that it was cheap.

I couldn't be happier with my stay at the annex of 525. I was safe and comfortable and right in the middle of things, walked to Kensington market and Chinatown, buses were close, so convenient and lovely people run it. The rooms were decent and clean with a tv for relaxing in the evening Thank you Amy and Lee and Jeffrey :-)

Very friendly staff. Excellent location. Large room with toilet and bath. They will let you leave your luggage after you've checked out if you still have a few hours to stay in Toronto before heading somewhere else. Of course, it's not perfectly clean or new but at these rates, that's really nothing to be grumpy about.
Équipe très sympa. Très bien placé. Grande chambre avec WC et baignoire. On peut laisser ses bagages après avoir rendu la chambre si on a encore quelques heures à passer à Toronto avant de repartir. Évidemment, ce n'est pas le summum de la propreté ou de la nouveauté mais à ce prix-là, on ne fait pas la fine bouche.
Do not stay at this Inn! First of all it is impossible to find. It is located in the middle of Chinatown. When we finally found it (after many phonecalls to a very rude woman) we arrived in a very stinky, full of garbage hallway and found that there was nobody to open the door for us. Only after another phonecall the woman said she would send someone to open the door. We had seen enough though. This Inn is a no go zone. It's as simple as that.
