Budget Accommodation > South America > Argentina > Salta > Hostels > Las Rejas Hostel
We loved Las Rejas. It is such a cute place, a big renovated house and was so comfortable. The beds were good, bathrooms spotless. Hot water was a bit slow but always there and really hot.
It is family run and they were so helpful. When our heater didn't work (yes there are heaters in the room) they went out of their way to fix it for us quickly.
The location is just a couple of blocks from the city centre so really convenient.

Breakfast is excellent - they will even make you fresh expresso coffee. For more great food, head to Toti's (I think) on the corner. We ate there heaps it was brilliant.
I would definitely recommend staying at Las Rejas.

It's located in the centre of the city 2 blocks from the 9 de Julio square and 12 blocks from the bus station
The easiest way to get to the hostel from the bus station is taking a taxi, they are safe and it's quite cheap, around 5 pesos.
From the airport, there are vans that they transfer from 15 pesos. A remis from the airport cost around 30 pesos.
The hostel is in one of the main streets of the city.
