Traditional Irish Music - "Sessions" to be found in many pubs in the area. Traditional Music Festivals include the "Joe Cooley" Weekend, Gort, held on the October Bank Holiday each year and Fleadh na gCuach, Kinvara, held on the May Bank Holiday Weekend.

Galway - The "City of the Tribes", offers the visitor, a splendid mixture of the old and the new.

"Woodlands Bed & Breakfast" consists of 3 guest rooms, two double rooms and one family room. The rate is €30.00 to 31.50 per person bed and breakfast. Just 40 minutes from Shannon Airport, or 30 minutes from Galway City, Woodlands is centrally located for an overnight stop or longer stay.

From Kinvara. Turn left or right depending on the directions you are coming from At Sextons Pub, keep left pass Delmere and The Meadows, continue on for about 7 minutes drive until you come to a cross road ( here you will see sign for Woodlands) turn right and keep driving about 5 minutes until you see my sign again, turn left and we are the 1st house. turn Left/Right at the square out to supervalu Shopping Centre right for Kinvara.

continue out over the bridge and take next right for Kinvara, take the next right for Woodlands (here Sign) continue on pass tatched house on your left until you come to a cross road take left and we are the 1st house.
