The location was great and the people were nice, but unfortunately security was a problem. On arrival,, our room was unlocked, there was no "do not disturb" sign for the room and when we went out the next day they cleaned our room and left the door unlocked with all of our things in the room. Lead me to believe they did this often if it happened twice on our room alone. Breakfast was pretty good!

We booked to stay at Lyndon House a week before we were due to arrive. The night before we got there, we received a phone call saying that Lyndon house is being renovated - surely they would have known this 6days ago?! We were told that an alternative accomodation was available for our stay. Upon arrival to the new B&B, we found out that it was a Hostel worth 10EURO per night - however Lyndon house charged us £76 for our first night. Unhappy with this - and the receptionist not knowing anything about the relocation or renovation of Lyndon House. In future we wish Lyndon House would give better notice and surely a similar priced alternative should be offered.
