We stayed here over the christmas period on arrival we where a little disappointed with our room which seemed smaller then others and in serious need of decorating we also had a few problems with the bathroom and blocked drains on two occasions, however the views from our balcony where of the west bank and made up for it and the deal was half board the staff where brilliant the food fantastic for most nights and always enough variety.We where booked in for the 'Christamas gala event and they put on an amazing buffet the likes of which I have never seen before with some serious sculpted pieces just fantastic the entertainment went on all evening with a huge variety of dancers etc.It was so good we were made to feel very very welcome so much so we came back and spent the new year with everyone, we were sad we could not afford to stay there as when we asked what they would charge for us to return it was considerably higher then we had paid on line.
The roof terrace was pleasent enough but no facilaties no toilet or bar or contact with ground floor so if you wanted anything you had to go back down the stairs to order.During the majority of our five day stay the lifts where not working.Over all very good value for money and I cannot fault the warm welcome we recieved from all the waiting and kitchen staff, we will never forget our New year celebrations here the staff input was wonderfull thankyou all so much we will be back.Mike and Mandy
