We have been happy about the location of the hostel and received a real good service from Staff. The Staff was more friendly than considering us as Clients only, and really helpful in orientating us around Cairo and around Egypt. About the cleanliness of the Hostel we have been really Happy, living in good conditions with a reasonable price.
Really enjoyed our stay at Hostel Brothers and Egypt. Keep it up.

I stayed here a week and was very happy with the choice: The location is very interesting, not only because it is perfectly downtown, but because the house is also famous from the book "Jacoubian Building" by Ala al-Aswany. The street is noisy (but that is the case for almost every hostel in Cairo), but inside the hostel it was quiet. I liked my room very much: an original old room with a lot of atmoshere. Toilets and shower were always clean. The people working here were very friendly and helpful (but not too much ... in trying to sell me something). There could be a bit more choice and changes for breakfast, but this is not so important. I missed nothing.

From the airport you can catch the bus ( for 2 Egyption Pound ) from the airport bus station to El Tahrer SQ then you walk to Talaat harb St for 5 Mintes you will found Yacoubian Building one of the famous 19th Century buildings in Cairo.or you can get the priavte car it will cost you 65 Egyption pound from main railway station you can catch the metro from Mubarak Station to Naser Station then you will walk for 2 Minutes you will find our famous building in talaat harb ST and our hostel is on the 4 Floor.
